Nobodies
Are you nobody too?
A nobody is a being that lacks a heart and the emotions associated- warmth, love, and passion. When a person loses their heart and becomes a heartless, their empty body or "shell" becomes a nobody if the person was of strong mind and will. Different from a heartless, which is mindless and preys on those with a heart by instinct alone, a nobody is conscious and clever. A nobody is capable of free thought and will, but because it lacks a conscience and a soul, it will tend towards manipulation or deceit, making it potentially very dangerous. Technically, because a nobody can not possess either light or darkness, they are "nothing" and therefore hover somewhere along a fine line between existing and not.

Types
Like the Heartless, there are many different types of Nobody. At the top of the chain, we have the members of Organization XIII. The Organization members are examples of those who had strong heart so their nobodies retain both their former's physical form and their memories. Each member of the Organization is charged with a different class of lesser nobody (usually assigned to match their fighting style) that they can control.

A lesser nobody's form is far less solid than the members of Organization XIII and they tend to appear stretchy and malformed. They are also able to contort and alter their bodies to strange shapes and forms.
The most common type of Nobody that you'll come across is the Dusk, which is pictured above. Other typical nobodies include the assassin, the berserker, the dancer, the dragoon, the gambler, the samurai, the sniper, and the sorcerer. In case you were wondering, Axel is in charge of the Assassins and Roxas gets the Samurai.
